One Hot Tagaytay Day: There Must Be A Title Revision For This Entry One Day Soon
I missed a day writing here because I went out of town with my noisy girlfriends from high school. Destination was Tagaytay.

Yes. This was our ride, yo!
When we were already in the city proper, I decided to roll down the window in hopes of being greeted with the cold breeze, but instead I just got a little sweaty with a "tanghaling tapat" hangin. What the hell?
This was a not-so-beautiful shot that I took of the Taal Volcano from Leslie's Restaurant. It was annoyingly hot but there was no sun shining on the volcano.
We are all petite, me and my noisy girlfriends, we are. But we have an appetite that beats that of a bunch of frat guys. So the first destination in Tagaytay was of course the infamous Leslie's Restaurant. Check out what we ordered.
I wasn't able to take a lot of pictures of the food because I was among the first ones to wolf down the food that touched the table heh heh heh.
Again, it was really REALLY hot in Tagaytay. There was no blinding sunlight but it was really humid and I hate that in everything that I have written here, I have already typed in a lot of really's.

With the noisy girlfriends before the food was served.
After eating for almost two hours, we went to the Picnic Grove for the zipline. YAAAAAY!!! But when I got off our gorgeous for rent vehicle, a wave of deep sadness and regret overwhelmed me (I will develop my lexicon don't worry, I will come up with less dramatic phrases than this). What was depressing is that I was not able to visit Picnic Grove when it really looked like you can still have picnics there. It was not beautiful there at all. I know that it must have been very relaxing there before. But... oh well, tourism.
Anyway, the main goal was to experience the [cute] zipline so while I was walking and grieving for what Tagaytay has become, I was also excited for my first zipline experience. Hehe.

This is me hanging by a moment like a biik with a peace sign.
After having experienced Tagaytay's zipline, I think I am ready for yours, Davao del Sur! HAH! It was fun but it was bitin. Hmm. I was more terrified when reaching the ramp at the end of each cable when they were about to catch you, than while I was sliding and hanging mid-air hehehe. Nakakatakot kasi. Parang hindi nila ako mapipigilan at mahahagis nalang ako sa mga tao.
After this, we were all sweating like crazy. At loss of other interesting things to do, we decided to just grab one manong's offer of a 300/head boat-ride to have close-up look of the Volcano. It was supposed to be a 350-head fee but because one of the noisy girlfriends is good at haggling, we were able to get it at 300/head. Hehe. Mahal parin ata yun. Pero hayaan mo na. :c
Here is a series of shots taken while on the boat ride.

And here, is the Taal Volcano, up close and personal.
| Not too close. If you get too close and you take a picture, it will just look like an ordinary mountain. Hehe. |
Since this boat ride was not planned at all, I was wearing jeans and a pair of doll shoes. Lahat ito ay nabasa. Bow. It was all worth it though. They all dried up on the ride home anyway. HEHEHE.
We finished all the alcohol at the "cottage" by the "shore" before heading to Rowena's for their buko tarts. WOOHOO. I bought a piece of their Blueberry Cheese Tart and Mango Cheese Tart because I was really already famished when we got there. No pictures of what I purchased: a box each of Buko Tart and Blueberry Cheese Tart and a bag of Chicharon for the boyfriend. Chicharon was really over-priced at 180PHP :c On a lighter note, one lady offered me an extremely heavy bag of avocados for only 100PHP. Heh heh heh.
Over all, it was a hilarious trip. From the trip planning (I was the one who kept on sending group messages)to the boat-ride and wet jeans and shoes. I have always loved being out with friends and just being out, period. ALL HAIL TO TRAVELING TO PLACES WITH CONFUSING WEATHER! I shall be back Tagaytay. And when I do, you better be cold already.

To wrap it up, here is a photo taken by our manong boat driver after having been requested that he take a picture of us WITH the Taal Volcano. Hahaha c:
